Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies

Today is a fabulous day here at Better Than Burgers!
It's Julie's Birthday!

My mom is absolutely fabulous. We've always been super close and I consider her one of my bestest friends. I wish you all knew her because you would feel the same way!

I hope your birthday is as amazing as you are. Love you Mommers!

Growing up my mom always loved Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. If she got to choose the flavor it was always Mint Chocolate Chip. It easily became one of my favorites as well. So when I saw this recipe I knew it would be a hit. I didn't know that they would easily become my favorite cookie. These will get made time and time again at our house.

Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 pouch sugar cookie mix
1/2 cup butter- soft
1 tsp. mint extract
8 drops green food coloring
1 egg
1 cup andes mint baking chips
1 cup chocolate chips

Mix sugar cookie mix and butter until well combined. Add mint, food coloring and egg. Mix well. Add andes and chocolate chips. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet.

  2. I recently found this blog and I've noticed that you ladies use processed pre-made ingredients to make your food. I love the site and the recipes that I've looked at seem to have some sort of processed ingredient in it. Do you ladies use these items often? I love to cook from scratch and I'm hoping to make some dishes if they care for real ingredients.

  4. @Anonymous mom with 3 kids. I hope you realize that when you are eating processed foods that you are feeding your kids toxic ingredients. I am a mom as well, and would love to save as much time as possible, but I'm not willing to use processed ingredients just to save time. I'd rather not use chemicals in my food. But it's your life so it's your right to eat processed and industrialized poisons.
