Creamy Bacon Chicken

The crock pot is my "winter friend"...sure I use her in the summer months too, but for some reason the winter months scream "Crock pot" to me. I try to cook at least 1 meal a week in the crock pot, some weeks its more, some are less. This yummy recipe was a family favorite and got a big 5 star rating at my house. Give it a try and see how it scores at yours.

Creamy Bacon Chicken
4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 can cream chicken soup
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
2 T. liquid smoke

1 lb. cooked, crumbled bacon
1 lb. saute'd mushrooms
cooked pasta or steamed rice
grated cheese

Place first four ingredient into crock pot. Cook for 4-6 hours on LOW. When meat is done, shred carefully with 2 forks (can be done in the crock pot). Stir so that sauce is combined with meat. Serve on cooked pasta or steamed rice. Top with bacon, mushrooms and grated cheese.
