Sloppy "Dr" Joe's
1 lb ground beef
1/2 t. onion powder
1/2 t. garlic powder
3/4 c. DR. Pepper (if you aren't a Dr. Pepper fan, use another cola or Root Beer)
2 T flour
1 c. ketchup
1 t. prepared mustard
1 T vinegar
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1/8 t. salt
Hamburger buns
Brown meat (slightly) in a skillet. Add onion powder, garlic powder and flour. Don't overcook, just lightly brown the meat (since you will put it in the crock pot where it will finish cooking). In a bowl, combine remaining ingredient(except buns) and stir until mixed thoroughly. Place meat in a crock pot, pour Dr. Pepper mixture over the top. Cook on low for 3-4 hours. Serve on a bun with cheese, lettuce, pickles and any sauces you desire.
Julie~

We LOVE sloppy joes too (I'm glad we are the only ones!!). I posted a sloppy joe made out of a chuck roast (crock pot) on my web site a while back...thank you for sharing your recipe.
